Help CenterGenerating API keys and setting up webhook location can be done via 'Verification settings' in the GlobalPass portal.
Generating API keys:
Once you are logged into the GlobalPass portal, navigate to System in the sidebar and go to verification settings.
You can find 'Credential Management' at the bottom of the page.
Press Create New, and it will generate the API key and its secret.
❗IMPORTANT: Please make sure to copy the keys at a safe location before closing the pop-up. These API keys & secrets are only shown once and cannot be viewed again. (You can generate new ones if you wish to)
Setting up WebHook URL:
Webhook location (URL) can also be set up from 'Verification Settings' in GlobalPass portal.
At the very bottom of the page, you can find 'WebHook Management'.
Here, you can press "Add New" and enter the URL of your system where you would like to receive the WebHooks from GlobalPass.
Once you enter your desired URL press Create. It will generate a WebHook secret which will be needed to validate the WebHooks coming from the GlobalPass system.
With new updated v2 Webhooks from July 2024, the secret is no longer exposed for security reasons. Please refer to this next article for newer webhooks. https://help.globalpass.ch/updating-webhooks-from-v1-to-v2/
📝Note: If needed, you can set up multiple locations (URLs) to receive WebHooks to different addresses.
