GlobalPass Crypto Analytics tool allows you to scan crypto transactions and wallets to assess their risk, obtain a variety of insights, and better understand who you are transacting with. This article explains how to initiate a Crypto scan.
Currently supported blockchains are listed in this article: Supported Blockchains
1. Crypto Transaction Screening:
Crypto transaction screening provides insights into the source of funds of a deposit your system has received, or the destination of funds of a withdrawal from your system.
To initiate a crypto transaction screening, navigate on the portal to Crypto Screenings → Transactions → Press Scan Crypto Transaction in your GlobalPass account.
With our new update to Crypto Screenings with hollistic approach, you are now not required to select a single asset or Log index to perform a transactions screening.
Here, now only the Transaction Hash, Direction of funds (Source of funds or Destination of funds), External ID (which can be your customer's unique identifier) and Output Address are required.
The Output Address is the receiving party (Wallet of counter-party) of the transaction.
2. Crypto Wallet Screenings
To screen a crypto wallet, specify the following information:
- Wallet address
- External ID: Your unique customer identifier, by which you can sort specific customer transactions later.
📝Note: If a wallet is new and has not received any transactions yet, the system will return an error when attempting to screen it, as no exposure information is available.
